Comprehensive Plan

Home & Lawn provides a Total Home Management solution that offers homeowners the convenience and peace of mind of having scheduled monthly visits that handle routine care, maintenance, and minor repairs. This comprehensive home maintenance plan ensures that every aspect of home upkeep is proactively addressed, helping homeowners avoid costly emergencies and after-hour repairs by staying ahead of potential issues. With a focus on preventative care, this service covers everything from extensive HVAC and plumbing checks, repairs and cleaning to minor electrical work, handyman and honey-do jobs.

Monthly Visits

Each month Home & Lawn visits the home, performing inspections and routine home maintenance based on a schedule tailored to the homeowner’s needs and the age of the property (example below). During these visits, common tasks might include changing air filters, checking smoke detectors, inspecting roofing and siding for damage, and servicing major appliances to ensure they’re operating efficiently. Total Home Management can also address specific requests like hanging pictures, cleaning gutters, or power-washing exterior surfaces and more. Regular check-ups reduce the likelihood of unexpected breakdowns, extend the life of key systems in the home, and help keep the property in optimal condition year-round.

Basic Repairs and More

In addition to regular home maintenance, the Total Home Management subscription includes minor repairs as part of the monthly visits. Whether it’s fixing a leaky faucet, repairing a faulty electrical outlet, the service ensures that minor issues are dealt with before they can become larger problems. Homeowners no longer have to worry about expensive single visits for small, but important, tasks—everything is taken care of during the scheduled maintenance visits. Many small repairs (and parts under $20) are included in the monthly service fee, however some repairs require more expensive parts or time to fix. We discuss these situations with you before any extended work is done so you can approve any additional costs.

Documented History - Increased Value

Just like with your car, having documentation supporting the maintenance of the vehicle will increase its value, having documentation for the maintenance of your home increases value too. We keep maticulous records of everything that we do and provide you those after every visit via email. That way if you should ever want to sell your home you have documentation showing the home was well maintained. We also archive those records for as long as you are a customer of Home & Lawn and 5 years after, and are available upon request.
