Our natural fertilization uses eco-friendly products to improve soil health and encourage sustainable growth, while our chemical fertilization is carefully formulated for fast, targeted results, boosting lawn vitality and resilience. Whether you prefer an organic approach or need a more intensive treatment, we will create a customized plan to enhance the overall health and appearance of your lawn.

Weed and Disease Control, Methodical

We provide natural and chemical lawn treatments designed to tackle weeds, pests, and lawn diseases, ensuring your yard remains healthy and well-maintained. Our natural treatments use eco-friendly, organic solutions that are safe for your family, pets, and the environment, effectively managing unwanted weeds and pests without harsh chemicals. For more aggressive infestations or issues, our chemical treatments offer targeted solutions that quickly eliminate invasive species, harmful pests, and common lawn diseases like fungus or mildew. Each treatment is customized to your lawn’s specific needs, providing a balanced approach that protects your grass and promotes robust, long-term health.

Our Recommended Schedule 5-7 Applications

Early Spring (March to April)
  • Fertilization: We apply a slow-release, balanced fertilizer (e.g., 20-5-10) to promote healthy growth as the lawn comes out of winter dormancy.
  • Pre-emergent Weed Control: We use a pre-emergent herbicide to prevent crabgrass and other summer weeds before they take root.
Late Spring (May to June)
  • Fertilization: We apply a light dose of fertilizer to maintain steady growth (15-0-15 or 16-4-8). We want to avoid over-fertilizing as temperatures increase and rainfall decreases.
  • Weed Treatment: Spot treating for broadleaf weeds (dandelions, clover, etc) with a post-emergent herbicide.
Summer (July to August)
  • Fertilization: Minimal to no fertilization during the hot summer months, as the lawn enters a natural period of stress. Water deeply but less frequently to encourage drought tolerance.
  • Grub Control: We apply an insecticide treatment for grubs, if they are a known issue, as this is when they begin to feed on grass roots.
Early Fall (September to October)
  • Fertilization: A high-nitrogen fertilizer is applied (e.g., 24-0-10) to encourage recovery from summer stress and promote healthy growth heading into winter.
  • Overseeding: This is the ideal time for overseeding to fill in any thin or patchy areas. Aeration and topdressing can also be done in conjunction with overseeding for best results.
Late Fall (November)
  • Winterizer Fertilizer: Apply a winterizer fertilizer (e.g., 25-5-15) with high potassium content to help the lawn store energy for the winter and green up quickly in the spring.
  • Weed Treatment: Spot-treat any lingering weeds before the lawn goes dormant for winter.
